Week 1

Reflection on the Week 1 Seminar

On Monday's lecture (29/01/18), we were introduced to our lecturer and the lecturer talked about the general topics and the areas we will be covering in this module. We were also given our module guide which gave clear and detailed instructions and information on our assignments that we will be doing in the future in this module. The lecturer explained and told us what was expected of us and the over view of the module. It was useful as we got the general idea of what we are expected to do and what we will be working on in the module.

On  Friday's seminar (02/02/18), we attended our first seminar with our teacher and she introduced the module in a bit more detail and explained about the assignment we will be working on. We were also asked to sign up to Blogger and to start on our Week 1 blog. We were also taught how to share it with the teacher.

As requested by our teacher, I formed a group with 4 other members for our group work. We had to choose a live business case that we all were willing to work on and we chose Curry's PC World as our business case, mainly due to the reason that one of our team member is working in this business company. We decided it would be great to work on a company that someone knows a lot about and have quick access to gaining more information on that company. We discussed a lot about who is going to do specific tasks within the group and we all are happy with the tasks that is assigned to us. We are also told to not hesitate to add or suggest new ideas to other members who are doing different tasks as it is group work and all efforts are counted.
